What is a source within a source?

19.10 If a quote from another source mentioned in an information source (book, journal articles, etc.) you are using is useful to you and your research cite it as "quoted in" this secondary source in your reference list while using the original source of the quote as your parenthetical citation.

Note: Always try to access and use the original work in your research.  Use a source within a source citation if the orignal source is unavailable.
