We've created a Library tutorial that will guide you through the basics of the Library's website and give you an overview of how to search in Seeker (the Library's main search engine) to get the materials that you need. The link to the tutorial is below.
Access all of the Library databases through our homepage: www.lndl.org. When prompted to log in, use your regular Loyola username and current email/Moodle password.

The Library offers scheduled research consultations via Zoom or in person. You can also ask questions through our 24/7 chat without making an appointment or email askemail@loyola.edu.
Search the Library Catalog (called Seeker) by keyword, title, author or subject.
Books are organized in the Loyola/Notre Dame Library by call number. View call number locations and floor maps of the library.
The library catalog is shared with 16 other libraries in University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) consortium, and items from these libraries can be requested online and delivered to LNDL. If you are unable to find a particular book listed in the library catalog, you can request it for free through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Books and other physical items will take about a week to arrive; you will be notified via email when items are ready for pickup. Loan periods and renewals vary according to the lending libraries.
