As of May 25, the Loyola Notre Dame Library has transitioned to a new login system for accessing the library's databases, catalog and other resources for your coursework and research.
To login, you will be required to use your Loyola or NDMU provided username (full email address: example@loyola, student@live.ndm.edu or faculty@ndm.edu) and password rather than your library barcode number.
If you are accessing a link that is still asking for a library barcode number to log in rather than a Loyola or Notre Dame branded log in screen, you will need to update the link you are using. You can update your link using our link creator. https://loyolanotredamelib.org/proxystringcreator/proxystringcreator.html
Please contact Danielle Whren Johnson, Copyright and Special Projects Librarian, at dwhren@loyola.edu, dwhren@ndm.edu, or 410-617-6872 with any questions.
Notre Dame students should log in to LNDL resources using their Network\Campus credentials using their email address and Network\Campus password (the same log in used for PCs in campus Labs and WebAdvisor).
If you are a Notre Dame student and unable to log in with your Network\Campus credentials, please contact the Notre Dame IT Help Desk at 410-532-5200 to have your password reset.
As a result of this upgrade to our login system, links to articles, e-books, and streaming media in library databases will also change. Any Library links included in Moodle/Joule courses and syllabi will need to be updated to reflect these changes. LNDL will provide help in updating these links. Your Library Liaison (http://guides.lndlibrary.org/faculty/liaisons) will be in touch in July to explain how they can help you update your list. And, if you want to get started before July, please contact your liaison.
The timeline for these changes will occur as follows:
May 25 – June 30, 2017
July 1, 2017 – February 28, 2018
March 1, 2018
