Creating Stable Links to Items in Databases

1.  Locate the article you want to link to and copy the stable link (DOI).

2.  Add the library's proxy URL to the front of the stable link http://proxy-ln.researchport.umd.edu/login?url=

     before you copy and paste the URL into your LMS.  The URL will look like this: 

     http://proxy-ln.researchport.umd.edu/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1021.jacs.3c13535

1.  Locate the article you want to link to and copy the stable link (DOI).

2.  Add the library's proxy URL to the front of the stable link http://proxy-ln.researchport.umd.edu/login?url=

     before you copy and paste the URL into your LMS.  The URL will look like this: 

     http://proxy-ln.researchport.umd.edu/login?url=https://doi.org/10.1163/2588-8838_GUAT-056_007

1. Select the Share button underneath the reference entry.
2. Select the copy permalink button to copy the permalink, then paste it into your course.

1. Select the Share button on the right side of the topic page.
2. Select the copy permalink button to copy the permalink, then paste it into your course.
