Loyola University’s phased approach to career services includes an initial cycle of self-discovery and experience. Once you develop a confident vision of what you want to pursue, the final two phases focus on practical preparation and active pursuit.
Loyola has partnered with PeopleGrove to develop a custom, Loyola-only career networking platform to help students, alumni, and friends of the University connect around career topics.

Loyola is proud to partner with Handshake, the best-in class career services platform for job and internship postings and managing your career journey. Last year, 12,805 jobs and 4,661 internships were posted on Handshake. Students can schedule appointments, register for events, and apply for jobs and internships on Handshake. All Loyola University faculty, staff, administrators, and students have complimentary access to Lynda.com with their Loyola credentials. Lynda.com provides video tutorials for thousands of technology subjects as well as career subjects, including preparing for an interview, searching for an internship, building professional relationships, building an online identity, and far more.”
