It is currently expected that funding for ERIC will run out on April 23, 2025. In the short-term, this means that no new materials will be added to the database. In the long-term, this could result in the complete closure of ERIC for the foreseeable future.
Due to concerns over the future of ERIC and its content, LNDL recommends that faculty and students save any materials they may need for their current work- this is especially important for any Masters or PhD students who may need specific materials in the upcoming months.
LNDL remains committed to providing the best possible support for our students in the face of ongoing developments. We have created a guide to alternative sources of government information.
