Introduction to Research Guides

Welcome to Loyola Notre Dame Library's Research Guides! Research guides serve as pathways for your students to library resources and research assistance. Librarians maintain research guides for each major, popular citation styles, and some individual courses. If you have questions about implementing research guides into your courses, contact a librarian at or 410-617-6802.

Useful features of Research Guides:

  • Access to the databases and resources specific to your students' research assignments
  • Links to tutorials about using library resources, like the catalog or Seeker
  • Information for accessing library resources off-campus, including retrieving full-text articles and using Interlibrary Loan
  • Access to a chat box where users can communicate with librarians 24/7

Ask a Librarian

Students and faculty can chat with a librarian 24/7! You can also embed this chat box in the right-hand column of your Moodle course homepage so your students can easily find us.
