Write-n-Cite is a citation manager that plugs into Microsoft Word. Use it to add in-text citations and format your bibliography as you write. References are synced with your RefWorks account.

To download Write-n-Cite to your computer, log into RefWorks, click on Tools and select Write-n-Cite. Follow on-screen instructions for installation.

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is an online citation manager. It's your own personal database of references that you can access from any computer.

What can I do with RefWorks?

Use RefWorks to:

  • import, save and organize your references
  • generate a bibliography in a number of citation styles (APA, MLA and more)
  • share references with classmates, instructors or colleagues.
