Education Research: Library introduction

Moodle companion

Welcome!

This guide accompanies the Education Research modules in Moodle. Each tab corresponds to a different module and contains additional resources or helpful hints for completing the quizzes. If you have any questions while completing the modules, contact a librarian using the Ask a Librarian box below.

Off-Campus Users

To log into the library research databases from off-campus, you will be required to use your Loyola or NDMU provided username (full email address: example@loyola.edu, studentexample@live.ndm.edu or facultyexample@ndm.edu) and password. Notre Dame students should use their Gatorpass (same as email password), NOT their Joule password.

If you need assistance logging in, please start a chat with a librarian.

Education Research Guide

The library has research guides for topics such as Education, Psychology, and Business. The Education research guide is a collection of databases, reference materials, and websites that will be helpful for your research. It also includes directions for using library services, such as requesting books from a USMAI library, and contact information for when you need help from a librarian.

Books from USMAI

The Loyola · Notre Dame Library is a participating member of the University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) consortium. The 16 other libraries in the consortium partner with us to provide access to a collection of over 9 million items. Loyola and Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff have borrowing privileges at each of these libraries and can place online requests for their books.

For more information about borrowing items from USMAI libraries, view the USMAI Borrowing page and our help guides.
