History: Getting Started

Using the Library from Off-Campus

Many of the library's resources are available to you even when not on campus. From any location in the United States, you can:

  • Access library databases
  • Download full-text journal articles
  • Request scanned copies of print journals from the library
  • Get help from a librarian via phone (410-617-6802), e-mail, and 24/7 online chat via the library's website.

Just remember -- when you leave campus, the library and research librarians are out of sight, not out of mind!

Welcome to the history research guide. These pages provide access to some of the most useful resources available through the library for anyone studying history. Use the tabs above to explore the guide.
