Gender and Women's Studies: Getting Started

Off-Campus Users

The Loyola Notre Dame Library has transitioned to a new login system for accessing the library's databases, catalog and other resources for your coursework and research.

To login, you will be required to use your Loyola or NDMU provided username (full email address: example@loyola, student@live.ndm.edu or faculty@ndm.edu) and password. Notre Dame students should use the password for their Network\Campus account (also used for Webadvisor and logging into Lab PCs) NOT their Gatormail password.

If you need assistance logging in please contact the Help desk at 410-617-6802.

Introduction

Welcome to the Gender and Women's Studies research guide. These pages provide access to some of the most useful resources available through the library for anyone studying in this discipline. Use the tabs above to explore the guide.

Locating Books at LNDL

Search the Library Catalog or Seeker by keyword, title, author or subject.

Books are organized in the Loyola/Notre Dame Library by call number. View call number locations and floor maps of the library.

The library catalog is shared with 16 other libraries in University System of Maryland and Affiliated Institutions (USMAI) consortium, and items from these libraries can be requested online and delivered to LNDL. View our Other Libraries page for a list of USMAI libraries, and visit our USMAI Borrowing page for more information about how to request materials.

If you are unable to find a particular book listed in the library catalog, you can request it for free through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)Books and other physical items will take about a week to arrive; you will be notified via email when items are ready for pickup. Loan periods and renewals vary according to the lending libraries.
