Welcome to the current events research guide. These pages provide access to some of the most useful resources available through the library for anyone looking for information on recent happenings in the world. Use the tabs above to explore the guide.

Using the Library from Off-Campus

Many of the library's resources are available to you even when not on campus. From any location in the United States, you can:

  • Access library databases
  • Download full-text journal articles
  • Request scanned copies of print journals from the library (use the Interlibrary Loan system to make a request)
  • Get help from a librarian via phone (410-617-6802), text (410-929-6876), e-mail and Instant Message (24-7).

Just remember -- when you leave campus, the library and research librarians are out of sight, not out of mind!
