What if I want a book or article that the library doesn't have?
You can request any book or article, even if the library doesn't have a copy, through Interlibrary Loan. The LNDL will borrow the item from another library on your behalf. Simply log into the ILL system, then fill out a request for the desired book or article. Articles and other digital materials usually will be delivered to your account within 24 hours. Books and other physical items will take about a week to arrive; you will be notified via email when items are ready for pickup. Loan periods and renewals vary according to the lending libraries.
After completing your search for articles in one of the library's databases, you'll see several options for accessing the full text. View this guide for help with accessing the full text of an article.
