Personal Interviews

To cite a personal interview, you need to let the reader know who you interviewed and when the interview was conducted. Here is how to cite an interview:

Include:

Last name First & Middle initial. [Interview] (accessed date).
 

Example:

Nanavati JE. [Interview] (accessed 2013 Feb 12).

 

PowerPoint Lectures

In any citation, you are going to include the information that you know. For a PowerPoint presentation, this usually includes the author, the title, and the date the presentation was created or accessed. Here is how to cite a PPT presentation:

Include:

ppt citation

Example: 

citation for ppt

If date PPT was updated is not available, then use the date it was accessed:

ppt citation no date

REMEMBER: Before using information from a lecture, ask permission from the faculty member or presenter.
