Community-Engaged Learning and Scholarship/Service Learning Research Guide: Getting Started

Off-Campus Users

The Loyola Notre Dame Library has transitioned to a new login system for accessing the library's databases, catalog and other resources for your coursework and research.

To login, you will be required to use your Loyola or NDMU provided username (full email address: example@loyola, student@live.ndm.edu or faculty@ndm.edu) and password. Notre Dame students should use the password for their Network\Campus account (also used for Webadvisor and logging into Lab PCs) NOT their Gatormail password.

If you need assistance logging in please contact the Help desk at 410-617-6802.

Introduction

Welcome to the Service Learning research help guide. ERIC defines service learning as "learning through community service (or public service in a wider sphere), usually integrated with regular instruction in school or college". This guide  hopes to provide direction for finding information on service learning at LNDL.

Have a question on any of the information resources available in this guide? Don't hesitate to contact us and we'll be happy to support you in your  research process.
